Blueberry Almond Wedding Cake

By special request, we made this horseshoe shaped wedding cake for the August wedding of Cathy & Mike. The horseshoe cake, baked in a pan forged in 1903, has been a feature at the weddings of Cathy’s family for 111 years. It was our honor to be a part of their family tradition. The couple chose an almond-scented cake with a fresh blueberry filling. The exterior is buttercream icing with toasted almonds.
